We all expect as usual to grow up in a loving family. That’s how one naturally thinks. Growing from childhood to adulthood, we want our family to be constantly tending to and loving us.
Children may not understand as young people that not all children have loving parents that treasure them. Many children across the world cannot call their own a comfortable, caring home.
Andrew, twelve years old and from Nashville, Tennessee, has a unique experience that few other youngsters his age have. Andrew apparently spent a good part of his life in foster care. Still, surprises abound, and Andrew’s fortune lately changed when he was adopted by a nice family. Change is inevitable in life; Andrew’s story shows how things could get better even in trying circumstances.

Tennessee boasts almost 8,000 children seeking for adoption and a permanent home. One of these children, Andrew, has fortunately discovered a loving family in the Gills who have chosen to adopt him. Starting a new life with his new family excites Andrew to be free from the Foster system. Having Andrew as his brother excites Andrew’s brother Joc as well.
